FLORIDA — A man and woman from Texas were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on Interstate 10, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened near mile marker 51 when a silver Dodge Ram traveling eastbound ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, a 65-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, and a female passenger, also from San Antonio, died from their injuries, FHP said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the investigation remains ongoing.
