FLORIDA — A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Florida in Wednesday night’s drawing, giving one player in the Sunshine State a sizable prize despite no one winning the jackpot.
The winning numbers for the July 1 drawing were 2, 6, 26, 39, 68, with Powerball 6. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the estimated $375 million jackpot, which had a cash value of $170.8 million. As a result, the jackpot for the next Powerball drawing has grown to an estimated $396 million, with a cash option of approximately $180.2 million.
The Florida ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball to win the game’s standard $50,000 third-tier prize. Nationwide, six tickets won $50,000, while three additional tickets with the Power Play option won $100,000.
The next Powerball drawing will be held Saturday night.
