LOUISIANA — A Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold in Louisiana for the Wednesday, July 15, drawing.
The winning ticket matched all five white ball numbers but not the Powerball. Because the ticket included the Power Play option, the prize was doubled from $1 million to $2 million.
The winning numbers for the July 15 drawing were 2, 7, 18, 29, 38, with Powerball 16. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $499 million jackpot, which had an estimated cash value of $221.6 million at the time of the drawing.
Lottery officials have not yet released the location where the $2 million Louisiana ticket was sold. The Powerball jackpot will continue to grow for the next drawing.
