Crash sends one to hospital, causes delays on I-70 in Ohio

OHIO — A crash on eastbound Interstate 70 in Clark County sent one person to the hospital and caused lane closures during the Wednesday morning commute.

According to authorities, state troopers and medics responded to the crash at approximately 5:20 a.m. near the U.S. 68 interchange.

Traffic cameras from OHGO showed the right lanes of eastbound I-70 were closed following the crash, while the left lane reopened shortly before 7 a.m., allowing traffic to begin moving through the area.

Medics transported one person to a local hospital. The extent of the individual’s injuries has not been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Motorists traveling through the area experienced delays while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene.
