KANSAS — One person was killed Tuesday in a crash on Interstate 35 in Johnson County, Kansas, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. on southbound I-35 near Lone Elm Road by the weigh station in Olathe. Authorities said no other vehicles were involved.
Details about the victim and what led to the crash have not yet been released.
As of 1:50 p.m., southbound I-35 remained closed while crews responded to the scene and investigated the crash.
