NORTH CAROLINA — A man has been accused of stabbing two people in downtown Raleigh late Wednesday night, according to police.
Raleigh police said officers responded around 10 p.m. to a reported stabbing on South Wilmington Street. When officers arrived, they found three people suffering from stab wounds.
Police identified 60-year-old Carl Moody as the suspect in the incident. Authorities said Moody was also injured and, along with the two other victims, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said Moody remains under medical care. Warrants have been obtained charging him in connection with the stabbing, though police have not released the specific charges.
