WISCONSIN — A lottery player in Wisconsin is holding a winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 after Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers drawn on May 6 were 18, 27, 51, 65 and 68, with the Powerball number 5. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
According to lottery officials, the Wisconsin ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball to claim the $50,000 prize. The ticket did not include the Power Play option, which would have increased the winnings to $150,000.
Wednesday night’s jackpot was estimated at $31 million, with a cash value of $14 million at the time of the drawing.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, allowing the grand prize to continue growing for the next Powerball drawing.
