PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at a home in Lower Windsor Township, according to authorities.
Police were dispatched to a residence on Trolley Road just after noon on April 10 after receiving “a 911 hang-up call” from the home.
When officers arrived, they discovered 66-year-old Kevin Garner and 64-year-old Lisa Garner dead at the scene, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators determined that Kevin Garner shot Lisa Garner in the head while she was lying on a sofa before shooting himself in the head.
Officials said the motive behind the incident remains unclear. Authorities also stated there is no threat to the public.
The Lower Windsor Township Police Department is continuing to investigate.
