PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were killed and two others were hospitalized following a crash late Saturday night in Philadelphia’s Juniata neighborhood, according to police.
The crash happened just before 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of K Street and Hunting Park Avenue.
Officers arriving at the scene found the driver of a gold Lexus dead inside the vehicle, authorities said.
A passenger who had been ejected from the Lexus was taken to a hospital, where the person later died.
Police said the other vehicle involved was a black Jeep Cherokee carrying four people. Two of those occupants were also taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
Investigators are working to determine whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
