MARYLAND — A motorcyclist died after a crash late Saturday night in Gaithersburg, according to Montgomery County police.
Officers responded shortly before 9:45 p.m. to a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle near the intersection of West Diamond Avenue and the Interstate 270 ramp.
Police said officers found the motorcyclist suffering from serious injuries at the scene. The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Authorities said the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and was not injured.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
Montgomery County police continue to investigate the crash.
