
OHIO — A 20-year-old man died and another man was injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening on Interstate 480 in Cleveland, according to police.
The crash happened on westbound I-480 near Ridge Road and Pearl Road.
Cleveland police and EMS responded to the scene and found one motorist, a 20-year-old man, dead at the scene.
Police said the other motorist, also a 20-year-old man, refused medical transportation but was later privately transported while accompanied by police.
Authorities said family members were at the scene following the crash.
I-480 was shut down later Saturday evening while investigators worked at the scene. The interstate reopened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
The Cleveland Police Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash. The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office and Brooklyn Heights police also assisted with the road closure.
