
OHIO — A traffic stop in Harrison County on Friday led to the seizure of cocaine and suspected fentanyl pills, according to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a vehicle traveling southbound on State Route 9 was stopped for an equipment violation. During the stop, a deputy became suspicious of possible illegal activity and requested assistance from a K-9 unit.
Authorities said K-9 Sadie responded to the scene and helped conduct a search of the vehicle, where deputies discovered more than 80 grams of cocaine and 85 suspected fentanyl pills.
The sheriff’s office identified the suspects as David Holden of Lorain and Hervie Johnson of Cleveland.
Both men were taken into custody and are expected to face charges of aggravated possession of drugs.
