
LOUISIANA — Two people were arrested following a traffic stop that led to the seizure of suspected drugs, cash and a firearm, according to the Bogalusa Police Department.
Police said officers stopped a vehicle on April 30 and searched it, allegedly finding more than 48 grams of suspected cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials, U.S. currency and a firearm.
Authorities arrested 37-year-old Carter Patrick Macfarland and 45-year-old Dedric Robinson. Both were booked into the Bogalusa City Jail on multiple drug-related charges.
According to police, additional suspected methamphetamine was allegedly discovered during the booking process.
The investigation remains ongoing.
