OHIO — Cleveland police said officers seized drugs, cash and a firearm during an arrest on the city’s West Side last month.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers with the Street Nuisance Crime Enforcement Unit, known as STANCE, were investigating a complaint about loud music early April 25 in the area of West 50th Place.
Police said officers noticed a vehicle leaving an alley and saw a man running from the car. After a short chase, officers took the man into custody.
Investigators said officers recovered about $15,000 in cash, a firearm with a magazine, five cell phones, about 70 grams of suspected narcotics, digital scales and packaging materials consistent with drug trafficking.
The 34-year-old man was charged with drug trafficking.
