NORTH CAROLINA — Police arrested three individuals and shut down a residence following a drug investigation that uncovered multiple controlled substances and stolen property.
According to authorities, Terrence Cooke, Dawood Bush, and Jaiden Cox were arrested last week in connection with the case.
Officers first encountered Cox on Wednesday and arrested him on charges of felony larceny and resisting a public officer. Police said items reported stolen were later recovered from Cooke’s home on Brooklyn Boulevard and returned to their rightful owner.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and returned to the residence Friday after receiving ongoing complaints about suspected drug activity. During the search, officers reported seizing crack cocaine, mushrooms, synthetic cannabinoids, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Cooke and Bush are facing multiple charges, including possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances, possession of Schedule I substances, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, conspiracy, marijuana possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said Cooke and Bush were each held on a $50,000 secured bond, while Cox was given a $2,500 secured bond.
Police said the home has since been deemed unsafe and boarded up as part of the investigation.
