
PENNSYLVANIA — More than 3,300 customers across Pennsylvania are without electricity Thursday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 3,370 customers statewide are currently without power out of more than 6.7 million tracked customers in Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia County is reporting the highest number of outages in the state, with 805 customers without electricity. Venango County has 271 outages, while Chester County reported 265 customers without power.
Other counties with notable outages include Tioga County with 262 outages, Delaware County with 248 outages, Centre County with 200 outages, Montgomery County with 192 outages and Bucks County with 166 outages.
PECO Energy Company reported the highest number of outages among Pennsylvania utilities, with 1,636 customers currently without service. FirstEnergy reported 1,488 outages, while PPL Electric Utilities listed 221 customers without power.
PowerOutage.us said Pennsylvania currently ranks sixth in the nation for the total number of outages and 17th nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Utility crews continue restoration efforts Thursday morning across the state.
