
OHIO — Nearly 5,000 customers across Ohio are without electricity Thursday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 4,891 customers statewide are currently without power out of more than 5.4 million tracked customers in Ohio.
Cuyahoga County is reporting the highest number of outages in the state, with 3,585 customers without electricity. Franklin County has 619 outages, while Clark County reported 86 customers without power.
Other counties reporting outages include Lawrence County with 85 outages, Warren County with 58 outages, Montgomery County with 56 outages, Fairfield County with 49 outages and Athens County with 43 outages.
Cleveland Public Power reported the highest number of outages among Ohio utilities, with 3,515 customers currently without service. American Electric Power Ohio reported 830 outages, while FirstEnergy listed 178 customers without power.
PowerOutage.us said Ohio currently ranks fourth in the nation for the total number of outages and eighth nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Utility crews continue restoration efforts Thursday morning across the state.
