
ILLINOIS — More than 4,300 customers across Illinois are without power Saturday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 4,331 homes and businesses in the state are currently affected by outages. Illinois ranks fifth in the nation for the total number of outages and 10th nationwide for the percentage of customers impacted.
Marshall County is reporting the highest number of outages in the state, with 2,087 customers currently without electricity. The county also remains one of the hardest-hit areas by percentage, with more than 16% of tracked customers affected.
Other counties with significant outages include Knox County with 730 customers without power, Stark County with 554, Peoria County with 282 and Henry County with 217.
Ameren reports the largest number of outages among utility providers in Illinois, with 4,209 customers currently affected statewide. Commonwealth Edison Company reports 24 outages, while MidAmerican Energy Company reports 35 customers without service.
