SOUTH CAROLINA — Sumter Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman last seen Wednesday night.
Police said 45-year-old Shayla Dalene Barkley left the Unique Care Assisted Living Facility at 17 Edwards Street in Sumter and has not returned.
Authorities said Barkley was last seen before 9:45 p.m. Wednesday walking in the Anne Park area of downtown Sumter, about two miles northeast of the assisted living facility.
Barkley is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink top and blue jeans.
Anyone who sees Barkley or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Sumter Police Department at 803-436-2700.
