NORTH CAROLINA — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man last seen in south Charlotte.
Police said 78-year-old James Garrett was last seen around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, walking away from his home on Zion Court, in a neighborhood near Marsh Road and Park Road.
Garrett is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and black and gray hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a blue pullover and blue jeans.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Garrett’s whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
