
VIRGINIA — Several vehicles were recently broken into in Goochland County, prompting an investigation by local authorities.
The Goochland County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating multiple reports of vehicles being entered in the 1500 block of Whippoorwill Road and the 2000 block of Sycamore Creek Drive.
According to the sheriff’s office, several vehicles were “rummaged through” during the incidents. Authorities confirmed that multiple vehicles were affected but have not released information on what may have been stolen or the extent of any damage.
“Deputies are working to determine the full scope of the incidents and identify those responsible,” the sheriff’s office said.
As the investigation continues, deputies are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables in plain sight.
