
SOUTH CAROLINA — An agricultural helicopter crashed near the Lee County-Sumter County line after striking a power line Monday afternoon, according to authorities.
The helicopter hit a power line before crashing on Cuttino Road off McKnight Road.
Despite the crash, the pilot was not seriously injured.
Emergency crews from both Lee County and Sumter County responded to the scene.
Authorities have not released the identity of the pilot, and additional details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
