One person injured following UTV crash in Iowa

IOWA — One person was seriously injured in a UTV crash Saturday evening in Linn County, according to authorities.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office said deputies and multiple emergency agencies responded around 7:34 p.m. to the 3800 block of North Center Point Road after receiving reports of a crash in a field.

First responders located a 2025 Polaris UTV that had rolled over.

Authorities identified the driver as 60-year-old Danny Perrin of Center Point. Perrin and one passenger were not injured in the crash.

A second passenger was transported by Lifeguard Air Ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals with what officials described as life-threatening injuries. The person’s identity has not been released pending notification of family members.

The crash remains under investigation.
