TEXAS — A man was hospitalized after police said he was stabbed by his sister late Monday night on the East Side of San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers responded just after 11 p.m. to the 200 block of Longview Drive for a reported stabbing.
Investigators said officers found a man in his 50s suffering from a stab wound to the arm.
Police said the suspect is the victim’s sister, a woman in her 60s who uses a wheelchair. Authorities said she was detained for questioning.
The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
No charges had been announced as of Tuesday morning, and the investigation remains ongoing.
