PENNSYLVANIA — Police are investigating an overnight stabbing that left one person hospitalized in Johnstown, according to Cambria County dispatchers.
Dispatchers said the stabbing happened just after 12:15 a.m. Tuesday inside the Coopersdale Homes public housing community.
One person was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center with injuries that were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain under investigation, and it was not immediately known if anyone was taken into custody.
Responding agencies included the Johnstown Police Department, Johnstown Fire Department, West End Ambulance Service and CMMC Dart.
The incident marked the 14th violent incident reported in the greater Johnstown area since March 12 and the third stabbing during that timeframe.
