WISCONSIN — A 17-year-old was injured in a shooting early Wednesday morning in Milwaukee, according to police.
The Milwaukee Police Department said the shooting occurred around 12:06 a.m. near 63rd Street and Fairmount Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim’s condition has not been released.
Authorities said the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
