
VIRGINIA — A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a shooting Tuesday evening in Richmond’s Shockoe Bottom area, according to police.
Officers with the Richmond Police Department responded around 7:58 p.m. on April 21 to the 00 block of North 21st Street after receiving reports of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital, where officials said her injuries were considered life-threatening.
Police have not released the woman’s identity.
Investigators have not provided details about a suspect or what led up to the shooting.
