
NORTH CAROLINA — Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured late Saturday night in downtown Durham.
According to the Durham Police Department, officers responded at approximately 11:38 p.m. to reports of an assault near the intersection of Queen and Liberty streets. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the man’s injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or any information about a possible suspect.
