
LOUISIANA — A man was shot early Saturday morning in New Orleans, according to police.
Officers with the New Orleans Police Department responded shortly after 6 a.m. to the area of Royal and St. Ferdinand streets following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services transported the victim to a hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
