KENTUCKY — One person was injured in an early morning shooting in Lexington on Tuesday, according to the Lexington Police Department.
Officers were dispatched around 1:15 a.m. to the 1700 block of Gerald Drive after receiving reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released information about what led to the shooting, and no suspect information was immediately available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
