PENNSYLVANIA — A 50-year-old man was killed in a workplace accident involving a forklift in Heidelberg Township, according to the Northern York County Regional Police Department.
Police said the incident occurred while the man was operating a large industrial forklift. Investigators said a piece of material became dislodged and fell onto the worker, causing fatal injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead as a result of the accident.
Authorities have not released the man’s name.
The Northern York County Regional Police Department said the incident remains under investigation.
