SOUTH CAROLINA — Fifteen people have been arrested as part of an undercover drug roundup operation in Oconee County, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the investigation resulted in 32 arrest warrants being obtained for 18 individuals based on drug purchases made during undercover operations conducted with law enforcement since the beginning of the year.

Authorities said fentanyl, methamphetamine and prescription medications were purchased by deputies during the investigation.

As of June 11, 15 of the 18 individuals had been arrested or were already being held at the Oconee County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office announced that the 15th person arrested was Jason Dewayne Petty, 45, of Westminster. Petty was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with three counts of distribution of methamphetamine.

Investigators are still searching for three individuals in connection with the operation: Trake Tyler Anderson, 51, of Anderson; Joshua Blake Gray, 37, of Seneca; and Cory Cordarell Gaines, 33, of Pendleton.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the three wanted individuals is asked to contact the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers at 1-844-71-CRIME.

The investigation remains ongoing.
