GEORGIA — One person died Tuesday afternoon in what authorities are calling a workplace accident in Savannah.
According to the Savannah Police Department, officers responded to the 2600 block of Seaboard Coastline Drive following reports of the incident.
Police said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional details about the victim and the circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will lead the investigation into the workplace death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
