WISCONSIN — A woman injured in a crash in Wood County earlier this week has died from her injuries, authorities said.
Officials identified the victim as Lori Whiteley, 57, of Plainfield.
According to authorities, the crash happened around 5 p.m. Monday on Highway 73 near Apple Road, south of Vesper in the town of Siegel. Investigators said a pickup truck traveling south left the roadway and overturned.
Whiteley, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was ejected during the crash. She was taken to a hospital in Wausau, where she later died Tuesday.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash. No additional details have been released.
