
PENNSYLVANIA — An e-bike rider was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Lancaster County, according to police.
The crash happened around 4:06 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Dartmouth Drive in East Hempfield Township.
Police said a 30-year-old Lancaster City resident was riding an e-bike when they were hit by a vehicle driven by a 75-year-old. The e-bike rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, officials said.
The intersection was closed for more than two hours while crews investigated the crash.
