TEXAS — A man in his 20s was killed early Friday morning in a rollover crash on San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to police.
The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Perrin Beitel Road and the Loop 410 access road.
San Antonio police said the driver of a sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when the vehicle crashed into a truck at the intersection.
Investigators said the sedan then rolled over in front of a nearby restaurant.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers inside the sedan were not injured, according to police.
Authorities said the driver of the truck and a passenger fled the scene in an unknown direction after the crash.
Police have not released the identity of the man who was killed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
