LOUISIANA — A Clinton woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in East Feliciana Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troopers said the crash happened shortly after 5 a.m. on LA-960 near Three Knotch Road.
Investigators said 58-year-old Lori Peace of Clinton was driving south on LA-960 when she approached a curve. For reasons still under investigation, Peace failed to negotiate the curve, left the roadway and struck a tree.
State police said Peace was properly restrained but suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
