
VIRGINIA — A woman was hospitalized after an early morning shooting Saturday in Richmond’s Southside, according to police.
Officers with the Richmond Police Department responded around 2:57 a.m. to the 2000 block of Dinwiddie Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound with life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police later said the woman’s injuries are no longer considered life-threatening.
