INDIANA — A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Indianapolis’ northwest side Saturday night, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded around 10 p.m. to the 5300 block of North High School Road, near West 56th Street and Interstate 465, following reports of a pedestrian crash.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been hit by a vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police said the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The identity of the victim has not been released, and authorities have not provided additional details about what led to the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing.
