ALABAMA — A man from Ohatchee has died following a single-vehicle crash in Coosa County Sunday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash occurred around 9:40 a.m. on U.S. 231, about two miles south of Rockford. Troopers said 56-year-old David P. Sharp was critically injured when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Sharp was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, where he later died from his injuries.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
