OHIO — A 31-year-old man has died following a shooting Monday night at a bar in Akron, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities said the shooting occurred around 8:14 p.m. at the Noisy Oyster Pub, located at 1375 North Portage Path.
First responders arrived to find the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he was pronounced dead at 8:49 p.m.
Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The Akron Fire Department previously reported that two people were taken to a hospital with injuries related to the incident.
Employees at the bar told investigators the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic dispute, though police have not confirmed that information. No details about possible suspects have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
