
OHIO — Authorities are working to identify a man whose body was recovered from the Ohio River in Lewis County.
According to emergency officials, first responders were called Monday afternoon to the Ohio River near Scott Park on Front Street in Vanceburg.
Lewis County Emergency Management officials said the body of an unidentified male was recovered from the water. The remains have been taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort, where an autopsy will be conducted.
Officials said they are awaiting positive identification from the medical examiner.
