OHIO — A Zanesville man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening on Interstate 70 in Muskingum County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers from the Zanesville Post responded at 6:43 p.m. to a report of a motorcycle crash on Interstate 70 near milepost 157.
Investigators said Cruize Bitler, 20, of Zanesville, was traveling eastbound on I-70 when he lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Bitler was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, Washington Township Fire and EMS, and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted with managing the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
