SOUTH CAROLINA — A 24-year-old Mauldin man was killed in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning in Pickens County, according to the Pickens County Coroner’s Office.
Coroners were called around 3 a.m. to Gentry Memorial Highway in Easley following a reported motorcycle wreck.
The victim was identified as Logan Matthew Riebe, 24, of Mauldin. The coroner’s office said Riebe was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said Riebe was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the wreck.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
The Pickens County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the incident.
