
NORTH CAROLINA — A person was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Raleigh, according to police.
The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. on Buffaloe Road near Oates Drive. Raleigh police said a pedestrian was struck by an SUV, and the driver left the scene without stopping.
The victim was pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released the person’s identity.
As police investigate, Buffaloe Road is closed and is expected to remain closed for much of the morning.
