OHIO — A Mansfield man died after a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred just before 2:30 a.m. June 13 on Park Avenue near Adams Street in Mansfield.
Investigators determined a 2021 Ford Expedition was stopped at a traffic light on Park Avenue when a motorcycle operated by 30-year-old Samuel Simmons of Mansfield struck the rear of the SUV.
Simmons was transported to a hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries, authorities said.
No injuries to the occupants of the Ford Expedition were reported.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
