SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist died following a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Orangeburg County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Master Trooper Hannah Davidson said the crash occurred around 5:28 p.m. on Bonner Avenue at Minerva Drive.
Investigators said a 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling west on Bonner Avenue when it went off the left side of the roadway.
The rider was the only person on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Authorities said the motorcyclist was transported to MUSC Health Orangeburg, where the rider later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
No additional information about the victim has been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
