FLORIDA — A fatal crash along Interstate 75 in Sarasota County early Sunday morning is under investigation, according to authorities.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred around 3:05 a.m. on northbound I-75 just south of Exit 213.
Few details have been released about the incident, but officials confirmed the crash resulted in at least one death.
As of the latest update, all northbound lanes of I-75 have reopened to traffic, though authorities noted that traffic conditions could change.
