KENTUCKY — One person was killed Saturday morning in a heavy equipment accident in Bath County, according to authorities.
The Bath County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene on Stevens Road in Owingsville shortly before 9 a.m., Bath County Coroner Andrew Owens said.
Owens said a bulldozer overturned, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Douglas Wells, 62, of Sharpsburg.
Kentucky State Police and the Bath County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
