
OKLAHOMA — A Sulphur man was killed and a passenger was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 35 early Friday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 3 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-35 near mile marker 94 in McClain County.
Authorities identified the victim as 56-year-old David Blasingame of Sulphur. He was pronounced dead as a result of the two-vehicle collision.
A passenger in Blasingame’s vehicle, 75-year-old Adeline Blasingame, was also injured in the crash. Information regarding her condition was not immediately available.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, not everyone inside the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Investigators are treating the incident as a hit-and-run. Officials have not released the identity of the other driver or additional details about what led to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
